Cuisine: Comfort Foods with a Modern Twist
Lisa G's is the kind of place you are happy to spend time in - when you walk in the first thing you see is a leather couch, a clear message to relax and get comfortable. Things only get better with the menu, it progressive, creative and changes often. A recent take on Surf and Turf is typical of Lisa G's creativity and easy pricing - Rosemary Monkfish and Hangar Steak. Wow. At $18.95 - double wow. Even the great outdoors are dialed in for dining and relaxing, a two-tiered deck offer a sweet view of the Chubb River. Lisa G's is an easy place to love, great flavors, intriguing food pairings, good prices all in a comfy, low-key environment.
The Food:
Baja Shrimp - fresh crab on top, big juicy shrimp below with a yummy tomatillo sauce is wild and wonderful
Pulled Pork Sandwich - Highly recommended disparate flavors (pulled pork, New Orleans style sauce, cheese and cole slaw) meld well together on a toasted bun - surprisingly good and satisfying
Calamari - calamari that is lightly fried leaving it moist yet crisp - unique blending with olives, capers and peperoncini has outstanding flavor coupled with a generous serving
Lemon Chix Caesar - Caesar dressing is made fresh and the lemon adds a nice zest and lightness, even the croutons are good

The Deck: Amazing deck and outside dining overlooking the Chubb River
Lunch is served all day: the lunch menu is full of flavors and light on the wallet
Great Bar: that is worth a visit on its own - no need to drive, just a short walk from the main strip
